The short version. We collect one thing — the email address you choose to leave — and we use it for one thing: to tell you when Volume One arrives. We don’t sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else’s marketing. You can have it deleted at any time by emailing backoffice@supportquarterly.com.
What we collect
Only the email address you enter in the signup form. We don’t ask for your name or anything else. As with most websites, our hosting provider may also keep standard technical logs (such as your IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and running — we don’t use those to identify or profile you.
Why we collect it
So we can send you a notification when Volume One is released (planned for Spring 2027), along with the occasional closely related note about the launch. By submitting the form you’re giving us your consent to email you about Love and Squalor Quarterly, and you can withdraw that consent whenever you like.
Where it’s stored and who can see it
Your email is stored with Kit (kit.com, formerly ConvertKit), the email service we use to hold the list and send the message. Kit processes the data on our behalf under its own privacy and security terms. We don’t pass your address to advertisers, data brokers, or any unrelated third party.
How long we keep it
We keep your email only as long as you want the update — until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it, or until the list is no longer needed. After that, we delete it.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this page — for example, how many people visit and which links they follow. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects standard information such as your device and browser type, approximate location (derived from your IP address), and the pages you view. We use this only in aggregate to improve the site, and we never combine it with your email address. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites with Google’s opt-out browser add-on, and you can read how Google handles this data in Google‘s Privacy Policy.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to withdraw your consent. To make any of these requests — including simply having your address removed — email backoffice@supportquarterly.com and we’ll take care of it.
Cookies
This page is deliberately minimal and doesn’t run advertising or tracking cookies. A few strictly necessary cookies may be set by our host or by the signup form so the site works and the form can be submitted.
Children
This site isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect email addresses from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we’ll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
